Our client, a Medtech company, is looking for an inspirational Operations and Business Leader :
- Accountable for overall site profit and loss performance (monitor and improve key financial metrics: OEE, scrap, cost per unit, yield, etc).
- Lead, manage, and optimize plant operations to ensure strong operational and financial results.
- Oversee day-to-day operational activities and ensure workforce productivity and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Oversee production/site operations to ensure products are manufactured in the most cost‑efficient manner while meeting defined quality and safety standards, supporting on‑time order fulfillment and enhanced customer satisfaction.
- Set direction for the site and ensure achievement of production targets related to volume, quality, schedule adherence, and operational effectiveness.
- Develop, sustain, and improve standards for product quality, performance and ongoing process enhancement.
- Drive improvements across manufacturing processes, products, equipment, tools, and overall product quality.
- Optimize performance through multiple operational levers, including capacity utilization and productivity maximization.
- Collaborate closely with department heads and support teams to achieve production objectives.
- Manage resources effectively to ensure sufficient production capacity, materials availability, and staffing levels.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and other key stakeholders, serving as the escalation point for customer service issues.
- Provide leadership, motivation, and performance management.
- Lead customer review meetings and ensure action plans are established to meet customer expectations.
- Ensure all quality standards are met and oversee compliance of all customer audits.
- Oversee quality systems to ensure products meet specifications and customer expectation
- Drive strong safety culture and maintain zero‑incident objectives
- Ensure full compliance with local regulatory requirements (EHS, labour, environmental).
- Ensure all policies, procedures, and activities comply with company rules and guidelines, local laws, regulations, and relevant ordinances.
