Responsibilities
Operations and management
  • Assess gaps and opportunities within business operations, both in-store and online, through reports and stakeholder feedback, striving for continuous improvement.
  • Implement and enhance internal business processes to align with strategic organizational and branding goals in Singapore.
  • Manage business campaigns and analyse performance targets and reports for improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with the General Manager to optimize business operations across all channels, including the physical store, event teams and e-commerce platform.
  • Conduct regular reviews to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of implemented processes.
New business development and implementation
  • Develop and execute new business ventures in accordance with directions from Headquarters (The Pokémon Company).
  • Maintain close communication with headquarters to ideate and develop new business/product offerings that meet the demands of the Singapore market while aligning with organisational goals.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of regulatory restrictions and perform risk assessments and financial modelling for new business ventures.
License Collaboration
  • Foster relationships with business partners, suppliers, and vendors to explore licensing and collaboration opportunities for the brand within the Singapore market.
Public Relations (PR), In-store events, Social media (SNS) strategy
  • Devise and implement marketing strategies to promote both the physical store and e-commerce platform in Singapore, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and objectives.
  • Supervise the creation of social media and e-commerce design assets.
  • Providing guidance to sales teams (Store and e-commerce) to maintain branding consistency and compliance with regulations.
  • Monitor team performance to ensure targets and goals are achieved across all areas of responsibility.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field
  • At least 4 years of relevant retail and e-commerce experience or business development.
  • High proficiency in Japanese and English to communicate effectively with Japan HQ and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify areas for improvement.
