As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it is modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. Working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to take on big picture challenges.
As someone who knows the workings of the core Finance team inside and out, you will lead individual projects to transform planning, tracking, and control processes. You will provide senior‑level management with insightful recommendations, planning, and reporting support.
Business Finance is part of Google's Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) organization, providing financial and analytical support to Google's business organization. Our work is integral to the strategic decision‑making and operations of the commercial teams across all of Google's advertising products. From understanding market and usage trends to exploring the productivity and return of our various investments, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the commercial leaders.
The APAC GCS Finance team partners with sales and cross‑functional leadership to provide analytical insights and recommendations on key business decisions. We are responsible for core operations such as forecasting and budgeting, and act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on topics such as business performance, risks, opportunities, market acceleration plans, and resource allocation.
From developing forward‑thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.
