Roles and Responsibilities
- Agency Sales Management: 100%
- Strategies and implements agency-wide and location-based sales initiatives to achieve location key result areas in: Value of New Business; New Recruits; Number of Active FCs (New & Existing); New FC Activity Ratio; Number of Premier Agents (MDRT); and Number of Quality agencies (Agency Performance).
- Mentor to junior BDMs to achieve team performance effectiveness and personal career development.
- Engages Agency Leaders and producers regularly to build strong partnership relationships.
- Designs programs and activities to direct sales behavior of agency distributors towards achieving key result area objectives.
- Enforces agency performance standards to promote business quality and ensure compliance with regulatory and company guidelines.
- Identifies and groom aspiring agency producers to become agency leaders.
- This role also performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by immediate manager to meet business requirements.
Minimum Job Requirements
Education & Experience
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree
- At least 5 years of experience in Agency channel management preferable
- M5, M9, M9A, HI, FLMI certifications preferable
Specific Skills
- Knowledge of life insurance industry in Singapore and/or Asia
- Proficient communications skills to effectively explain policies with Agency distribution force and internal stakeholders
- Effective communication skills
