Job Summary

FX Technology Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive business growth in Chinese-speaking markets, with a primary focus on China, Taiwan, and other global Chinese-speaking communities. This role is responsible for market expansion, strategic partnerships, and customer growth for the company’s automated trading technology products.

The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening FX Technology’s brand presence, building long-term strategic relationships, and contributing directly to the company’s revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
1. Business & Market Development
  • Develop and execute business development strategies for China, Taiwan, and other Chinese-speaking markets

  • Identify new market opportunities, industry trends, and potential strategic partnerships

  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and the competitive landscape

2. Strategic Partner Management
  • Build, manage, and grow relationships with introducing brokers (IBs), strategic partners, trading communities, and financial education providers

  • Negotiate partnership structures, commission models, and commercial agreements

  • Maintain sustainable, long-term, and mutually beneficial partnerships

3. Sales & Revenue Growth
  • Drive new customer acquisition and expand existing client relationships

  • Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to achieve business targets

  • Support promotional activities such as seminars, webinars, workshops, and digital marketing campaigns

4. Internal Collaboration
  • Work closely with product, technical, customer support, and marketing teams to align market needs with company offerings

  • Provide market feedback to internal teams to support continuous product and service improvement

5. Reporting & Governance
  • Prepare regular reports on market performance, partner development, and revenue results

  • Ensure all business activities comply with company policies and relevant regulatory requirements

Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field

  • Relevant experience in business development, sales, or partner management

  • Experience in financial services, trading, fintech, or technology-related products is an advantage

Skills & Competencies
  • Strong understanding of China, Taiwan, and Chinese-speaking markets

  • Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written); additional language skills are an advantage

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams

  • Proactive, results-driven mindset with a long-term growth orientation
