Job summary

A logistics solutions company in Singapore is seeking a Business Development Exec / Business Development Manager to drive new business within logistics and freight forwarding. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Degree in a related field and proven sales experience in logistics. Responsibilities include managing key accounts, acquiring new customers, and preparing logistics solutions. Strong negotiation and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to achieve sales targets.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in logistics sales / freight forwarding sales / 3PL sales.
  • Strong network within shippers, importers/exporters, or MNC customers preferred.
  • Good understanding of air freight, ocean freight, trucking, and warehousing solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business development within logistics, freight forwarding, and supply chain solutions.
  • Identify and acquire new customers through prospecting, networking, and cold outreach.
  • Manage and grow existing key accounts to maximize revenue and customer retention.
  • Prepare and present logistics and freight solutions (air, sea, land, warehousing, 3PL).
  • Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and service agreements.
  • Work closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and KPIs.
