Title: Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic business and sales plans to achieve revenue target and market expansion.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target sectors: wind turbine, seaport, mining, bus (transportation), oil & gas, and industrial manufacturing.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Provide technical consultation and product presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Ensure all products and solutions comply with local import regulations and fire safety standards.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and product teams to deliver customized fire suppression systems.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments.
  • Prepare detailed sales forecasts, performance reports, and market analysis for senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in fire protection or industrial safety systems.
  • Strong knowledge of fire suppression technologies including liquid agent, foam, gas, and powder systems.
  • Familiarity with NFPA, VdS standards or similar, and local fire safety regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and technical product portfolios.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English and proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Experience working with wind turbine OEMs, wind farms, mining mobile machinery users, seaports (mobile equipment) operators, public bus operators and OEMs, power generation or refinery operators.
  • Existing network within Singapore's industrial, mining, seaport, bus and energy sectors.
  • CAD skills is a bonus.
