The Role

The Business Development Manager role exists to help grow and develop Pepperstone's Asia business. You will manage all Southeast Asian speaking clients, as the role encompasses the whole client life cycle, for sales & conversion, support & retention, and even relationship management of our premium clients. You will need to create and deliver a strategy, that allows us to grow in the region. You will be supported by our marketing and compliance teams and will need to work closely with other senior stakeholder to successfully implement the strategy and grow the region.

As our Business Development Manager - Asia, your key responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

  • Influence and implement the Southeast Asia sales strategy
  • Achievement of set KPIs in line with expectations and budget projections
  • Carry out new business and premium client management functions
  • Ensure adherence to compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Navigate regulatory challenges and collaborate with the Compliance and legal teams
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure client communication and general marketing is relevant to the Vietnam market and different client segments, to help ensure strong return on investment to various campaigns
  • Proactively research and present opportunities to achieve growth targets and strategy
  • Lead and execute projects/initiatives as agreed with other senior stakeholders that will help develop the region
About you
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working in the Forex and CFD industry with a demonstrated track record in achieving results to set targets
  • Experience in managing projects and implementing change/initiatives
  • Exceptional relationship building and customer service skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience with creating and delivering effective presentations, tailoring information to various stakeholder groups
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively collaborate with stakeholders across functions at all levels and cultivating effective working relationships to resolve issues
  • Superior understanding of financial markets and trading strategy
  • Proficient numerical ability; comfortable working with numbers
  • Ability to quickly adapt in a changing environment and assist others to adapt
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve conflict and overcome challenges
