Job summary

A leading event management company in Singapore is seeking a dedicated team member to proactively reach out and pitch event venue offerings. You'll build strong relationships with clients, recommend suitable venue options, and guide them during tours. Ideal candidates will have a diploma or degree in related fields and possess excellent interpersonal skills. Fresh graduates with a keen interest in events are encouraged to apply. This position requires strong customer orientation and the ability to work independently while managing multiple inquiries and bookings.

Qualifications

Job description
    • Proactively reach out to potential clients and pitch the company’s event venue offerings, ensuring the venue is presented in the best possible light.
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their event requirements and recommending the most suitable venue and event space options.
    • Arrange and accompany clients on venue tours, providing professional guidance and highlighting key features of the space.
    • Propose suitable event packages based on customers’ needs and prepare accurate quotations.
    • Handle customer inquiries promptly, follow up with leads, and assist clients throughout the booking process.
    • Coordinate with internal teams (operations, catering, events, etc.) to ensure smooth event arrangements and successful execution.
    • Manage documentation, bookings, and relevant administrative duties.
    • Perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.
Requirements
    • Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Events Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields (preferred but not mandatory).
    • Experience in sales, events, hospitality, or customer-facing roles; fresh graduates with strong interest in events are welcome to apply.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present venue offerings confidently and engage effectively with clients.
    • Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to understand client needs and provide suitable recommendations.
    • Proactive, results-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and capable of managing multiple enquiries and bookings simultaneously.
    • Familiarity with event operations, venue management, or sales processes will be an advantage.
    • Willing to work on weekends or evenings when required for client meetings or venue tours.
