A leading ERP consultancy firm in Singapore seeks an experienced Business Development Executive/Manager to drive new client acquisition and revenue growth. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in software or ERP solution selling, a strong understanding of the sales cycle, and the ability to engage effectively with clients. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Business Development Executive/ Manager to drive new client acquisition and revenue growth for our ERP and IT consultancy solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong background in software or ERP solution selling, understands the full sales cycle, and thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities across targeted industries (e.g., manufacturing, trading, retail, services).
Develop a strong pipeline of potential clients through cold calling, networking, social selling, and partner channels.
Conduct needs analysis to understand client pain points and propose suitable ERP/IT solutions.
Present and demonstrate ERP/IT solutions to potential clients (online or onsite).
Prepare proposals, quotations, and tender submissions.
Lead the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
Follow up closely with prospects to shorten sales cycles and increase win rates.
Build and maintain long‑term relationships with key decision‑makers and stakeholders.
Work closely with internal technical/consulting teams to ensure accurate solution scoping.
Ensure smooth handover from sales to project delivery teams.
Stay updated on ERP trends, competitors, and digital transformation needs.
Provide market feedback to management for product/solution enhancements.
Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and seminars.
Minimum 3 years of experience in software or ERP solution selling (B2B).
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong understanding of ERP systems, digital transformation, or IT consultancy services.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Self‑driven, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to manage multiple opportunities and prioritize workload effectively.
Possession of own transport is an advantage (if applicable).
Experience with ERP brands such as SAP, Oracle, Epicor, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, or similar.
Established network of corporate clients.
Ability to understand basic technical requirements and translate them into business proposals.
Strong problem‑solving skills and solution‑based selling mindset.
