Job Summary
he Business Development Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, acquiring B2B and corporate clients, and building long-term partnerships for the VEELGO delivery and moving services platform. The role focuses on sales, client relationship management, and market expansion within Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, approach, and onboard new B2B clients including SMEs, e-commerce sellers, retailers, and corporate customers
- Promote VEELGO’s parcel delivery and moving services to potential clients.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and service agreements.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service terms.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Act as the main point of contact for client enquiries and support.
- Handle client feedback and coordinate with operations to ensure service quality.
- Support client retention and repeat business.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and industry trends.
- Analyze competitors and recommend growth strategies.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Work closely with operations, driver management, and customer support teams.
- Coordinate with marketing team on promotions and campaigns.
- Ensure smooth onboarding of new clients and service implementation.
- Maintain accurate sales records and CRM updates.
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts.
- Track performance against targets and KPIs.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related fields.
- 1–3 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in logistics, delivery, or service-based sectors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong persuasive and presentation abilities.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking software is a plus.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and result-oriented mindset.
- Comfortable with field visits, client meetings, and occasional travel.
- Knowledge of the local market and SME ecosystem is an advantage.
Salary & Benefits
- Base Salary: SGD 3,000 – 5,000 per month (depending on experience)
