A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking a Business Development Manager responsible for optimizing projects, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in construction business development, particularly in large-scale projects, along with strong leadership and communication skills. This role is based in the West Region and requires effective project management capabilities.
Coordinate with architects and internal teams to optimize building layouts for cost efficiency and usability in Design & Build projects.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure project requirements and client expectations are clearly understood and delivered.
Conducted comprehensive market research and analysis to gather valuable intelligence.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and long‑term partnerships.
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with project and contractual specification and statutory requirements.
Responsible for prospecting for tenders and the company’s submission for Project Pre‑Qualifications (PQ), Project Tenders, Tender Query and Tender Clarification Questions.
Responsible for direct dealing with clients for project presentation as well as answering tender queries.
Responsible for Public Relations and Corporate Communication with clients and subcontractors.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of business development experience in construction projects of similar scale, complexity, and nature.
Relevant experience in LTA MRT, building, data center, or large‑scale projects is highly preferred.
In‑depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent sales and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management software and related tools.
Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
Work a 5‑day work week.
Work location: West Region.
