Job description

What the role is:

We are looking for a data-driven Business Analyst – Business Analytics & Customer Insights to join our team. In this role, you will leverage data and analytics to understand customer behaviour, optimize business performance, and support strategic decision-making. You will be overseeing the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and will be required to work with various stakeholders (IT, Business Process Owners) to review data requirements and data availability for use cases to support operational and business needs.

What you will be working on:

• Analyse customers’ needs and sentiments to improve customer experience, and identify opportunities for growth.
• Identify opportunities for automation and optimization using machine learning and AI tools.
• Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate performance metrics and insights to stakeholders.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business questions into analytical problems and deliver actionable insights.
• Lead A/B testing and experimentation to validate hypotheses and model effectiveness.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and consistency across analytics and machine learning pipelines.
• Collaborate with data engineering and data science teams to ensure high-quality data availability and modelling.

What we are looking for:

1. Background in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
2. 2+ years of experience in a business analytics or customer insights role, with exposure to machine learning applications in a business context.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
• Working knowledge of machine learning frameworks and tools (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a plus.
• Experience with Python or R for data analysis and modelling.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) and ML pipeline tools is advantageous.
• Comfortable working with large, complex datasets from sources such as CRM systems, web analytics platforms, and data warehouses.

Soft Skills:

• Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Detail-oriented, curious, and proactive in identifying new opportunities for analysis.

Successful candidates will be offered a 1+1 year contract in the first instance.
