A leading property management company in Singapore is seeking a Building Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will monitor various building systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards while conducting routine inspections and addressing maintenance requests. This role requires at least 3 years of hands-on experience in building maintenance, strong knowledge of systems, and the ability to work independently in a shift-based environment. This role requires six days of work per week, 3 shifts, which will be rotated every 2 months.
Covers full medical benefits, variable bonus and yearly salary increment.
Conduct routine and periodic inspections of building services and facilities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational requirements.
Monitor and check air-conditioning, mechanical ventilation, electrical, fire protection, plumbing, and building management systems.
Perform troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance, and necessary repairs on various building systems.
Address breakdowns, tenant complaints, and service requests by carrying out relevant repairs and submitting detailed maintenance reports to the Manager.
Inspect and supervise contractors to ensure maintenance, repair, and replacement work is completed to specifications and meets quality standards.
Ensure all contractor work complies with method statements, risk assessments, and workplace safety regulations.
Perform handyman and breakdown maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, sanitary, and minor repairs.
Certify completion of contractor jobs and ensure all work is satisfactorily completed.
Monitor and manage inventory, submit requests for necessary purchases, and recommend improvements or cost‑saving measures.
Assist with any additional duties as required by the Manager.
Education: Minimum Professional Certificate/NITEC in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related field.
Experience: At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in building maintenance or servicing.
Shift Work: Must be available for rotating shifts (7am–4pm, 2pm–11pm, 10:30pm–7:30am) and a 6‑day work week.
Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures.
Ability to work independently and efficiently manage multiple tasks.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
