Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore seeks a BIM Coordinator to prepare and produce drawings, develop BIM models, and ensure compliance with project standards. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Architecture with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp, along with strong coordination and communication skills, is essential. Qualifications

Job description

• Prepare and produce drawings and as‑built drawings including BIM models in accordance with project requirements.
• Develop and maintain BIM models throughout the project lifecycle until as‑built stage.
• Perform system design and basic engineering calculations for assigned projects.
• Prepare and develop shop drawings according to project schedule and coordination requirements.
• Responsible for document control and management of drawings and submission documents.
• Maintain proper records of design changes ensure documentation are updated accordingly.
• Draft, amend and update drawings using AutoCAD and BIM software based on project requirements.
• Convert conceptual and design information into accurate and detailed construction drawings.
• Coordinate and collaborate with internal departments, consultants, contractors and external parties on design and model changes.
• Ensure BIM models comply with project BIM Execution Plan (BEP), standards and workflow requirements.
• Carry out proper drafting procedures for various project stages, including authority submissions.
• Perform quality control checks on drawings and BIM models to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance before submission.
• Incorporate feedback and comments from engineers, architects, consultants and clients into drawings and models.
• Attend coordination meetings when required.

Job Requirement

• Degree in Architecture or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in the related field.
• Proficient in BIM software including Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp and other relevant drafting tools.
• Formal training and certification in BIM, AutoCAD or equivalent modelling software will be an advantage.
• Strong coordination and communication skills with the ability to work effectively.
• Able to multitask and perform in a fast‑paced working environment.
• Possess strong analytical skills and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Willing to attend to urgent project requirements beyond normal office hours when necessary.
• Undertake any other duties assigned by management from time to time.
• 5‑day work week.
