Job Summary

Support daily building operations, maintenance, and compliance to ensure facilities are safe, functional, and meet Singapore regulatory and service standards.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily facilities operations by collaborating with internal teams and external service providers to maintain building functionality and safety
  • Monitor and evaluate essential building systems including Mechanical & Electrical (M&E), HVAC, fire protection, lifts, and water supply to ensure optimal performance
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and report defects, hazards, and non-compliance issues, driving timely resolution
  • Ensure strict compliance with Singapore regulatory requirements including BCA, SCDF, NEA, Fire Code, BMSMA, and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) guidelines
  • Plan and coordinate preventive, corrective maintenance, and ad hoc works to sustain building operations and minimize downtime
  • Supervise contractors by reviewing work permits, risk assessments, and method statements (RA/MS) to enforce safe work practices on site
  • Monitor tenant fit-out and renovation works to ensure adherence to building guidelines and standards
  • Maintain accurate records and logs in Facilities Management systems such as Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and operate Building Management System (BMS) and fire alarm panels as required
  • Act as first responder during building emergencies and actively participate in emergency drills to enhance preparedness
Required competencies and certifications
  • Diploma in Facilities Management, Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 2–4 years of facilities or property management experience within Singapore
  • Knowledge of local authority requirements including BCA, SCDF, NEA, and EMA regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Facilities Management software applications
  • Effective communication and coordination skills to manage stakeholders and contractors
  • Willingness to be on standby and work during weekends and public holidays as required
  • Physical fitness to perform site inspections and related duties
