Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Biometric Project Manager to lead identity, access, and biometric technology initiatives across a large, high-traffic, customer-facing environment. This role will be responsible for managing end-to‑end project execution, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring successful implementation of facial recognition and biometric solutions in a regulated and operationally complex environment.
Mandatory Skill‑set
- 5–8 years of experience in project management, preferably within biometric, identity, security, or digital transformation projects;
- Must have proven experience managing technology implementation projects, including system integrations;
- Must have strong understanding of biometric and facial recognition technologies, identity verification, or access control systems;
- Experience managing end-to‑end project lifecycles, including requirements gathering, planning, execution, UAT, and go‑live;
- Ability to work effectively with IT, security, operations, and external vendors;
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.
Desired Skill‑set
- Experience with biometric, facial recognition, or identity management platforms, including exposure to physical security systems such as CCTV, access control, or smart infrastructure;
- Familiarity with data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance related to biometric and identity data;
- Experience delivering projects in high-volume or mission‑critical environments (e.g. hospitality, transport, retail, public venues);
- Knowledge of Agile, hybrid, or waterfall delivery methodologies; project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum) are an advantage;
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage biometric and facial recognition projects from initiation through delivery and post‑implementation support;
- Work with business, security, and operations stakeholders to gather requirements and define solution scope and use cases;
- Coordinate with IT teams and vendors on system design, integration, testing, and deployment;
- Oversee UAT planning, execution, defect tracking, and resolution;
- Manage project timelines, risks, dependencies, and budgets; provide regular status updates to stakeholders;
- Ensure solutions comply with data privacy, security, and governance standards;
- Support change management, training, and user adoption for operational teams;
- Monitor post‑implementation performance and drive continuous improvement and optimisation.
