Overview

Our client, a well-known A1 main contractor in the construction industry, is looking for candidates for the position of BIM Coordinator (MEP).

Responsibilities

• Support BIM Manager to implement IDDEP for the assigned project.
• Execute BIM implementation processes as per agreed IDDEP.
• Manage and coordinate project BIM standards development, implementation, and enforcement on all related BIM deliverables.
• Coordinate BIM workflows and processes across all project disciplines.
• Manage and maintain the central BIM model, ensuring version control and data integrity.
• Conduct and lead regular VDC meetings with the participation of stakeholders for BIM model reviews to identify and resolve coordination challenges.
• Prepare and deliver BIM deliverables, such as BIM models, clash reports, asset data, 3D visualizations, etc.
• Prepare M&E CSD and CBW drawings for submission to consultants for approval.
• Track and report on BIM progress, submission status, identify and highlight potential issues.
• Coordinate with all M&E subcontractors, as well as the project team structural and architectural teams to resolve all drawings, site discrepancies or technical issues.
• Perform clash detection using Navisworks Manage to identify conflicts and coordinate resolutions.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering with at least 5 years of working experience in design engineering, construction engineering or Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) project management.
• Specialist Diploma in BIM or related field and BIM Management Certificate.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant BIM experience as a Project level BIM Coordinator in a large-scale building project and has completed at least one full project cycle at design phase or construction phase.
• Proficiency in BIM and VDC software (e.g. Revit, Navisworks, ACC, etc.) and understanding of multidisciplinary design and construction principles.
