Job summary

A major engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a BIM Drafter to support the design and documentation of Building Management Systems (BMS) and ELV systems. The ideal candidate will develop accurate BIM models and coordination drawings while working closely with engineers and project managers on large-scale projects. Key responsibilities include preparing BIM models using Revit, producing shop and coordination drawings, and ensuring compliance with project specifications. Qualifications

• Experience in preparing and maintaining BIM models for BMS / ELV systems.

We are looking for a BIM Drafter to support the design, coordination, and documentation of Building Management System (BMS) and ELV systems for large-scale building and infrastructure projects.

The candidate will work closely with BMS engineers, project managers, and other discipline coordinators to develop accurate BIM models and construction drawings in accordance with project requirements and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain BIM models for BMS / ELV systems using Revit
• Produce shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination drawings
• Develop BMS layouts, including:
  • Control panels / DDC panels
  • Field devices (sensors, actuators, meters, etc.)
  • Cable containment and routing (where applicable)
• Coordinate BIM models with other disciplines (Architectural, Structural, M&E)
• Resolve clash issues identified during coordination meetings
• Ensure drawings and models comply with:
  • Project specifications
  • BIM Execution Plan (BEP)
  • Company drafting standards
• Support submissions to consultants / clients and update drawings based on comments
• Assist in maintaining drawing registers and revision control
