Contract Duration: 3 months (renewable based on performance and business needs)

Job Description

We are seeking proficient and empathetic Bilingual Interpreters to provide essential remote interpretation services between English and Mandarin. In this role, you will act as a vital communication link for stakeholders in the US and Chinese Speaking Clients, facilitating clear and accurate dialogue across a wide range of sensitive and important conversations. This is a fully WFH, shift-based position that allows you to work from the comfort of your home while making a meaningful impact.

What You Will Be Doing

• Provide accurate, real-time audio interpreting for a diverse range of conversations.
• Maintain strict neutrality and professionalism, especially during sensitive or challenging calls (e.g., in medical, emergency, or personal contexts).
• Ensure interpretations are precise and complete, faithfully rendering all details without addition or omission.
• Utilize active listening, strong retention, and effective note-taking skills to ensure a high degree of accuracy.
• Communicate clearly in both English and Mandarin, using proper pronunciation and polite expressions.
• Clarify cultural concepts when requested and authorized to prevent misunderstandings.

Work Arrangements

• Location: This is a fully Work From Home position. (Only in Singapore)
• Schedule: 5-day work week, scheduled across Monday to Sunday.
• Shift Pattern: 8-hour shifts based on a roster, scheduled between 9:00 PM and 9:00 AM SGT.

Technical Requirements

• A stable and reliable home internet connection (e.g., cable modem, DSL, or fibre optics).
• A personal device for work: a smartphone, iPad, or laptop.
