Job Description – Receptionist (Beauty Salon, Dhoby Ghaut)

Work Days:5-day work week
Working Hours:11.00am – 8.00pm
Salary Range:SGD 2,800 – 3,500 (commensurate with experience)

About the Role

We are looking for a professional and customer‑oriented Receptionist to join our beauty salon team at our Dhoby Ghaut outlet. You will be the first point of contact for customers and play a key role in creating a welcoming and smooth experience for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet customers warmly and manage check‑ins and check‑outs.

  • Handle appointment bookings, rescheduling, and customer enquiries (walk‑ins, phone, WhatsApp, social platforms).

  • Assist customers with information on services, promotions, and packages.

  • Coordinate with therapists and beauticians to ensure smooth daily operations.

  • Manage payment transactions and maintain accurate records.

  • Oversee reception area tidiness and ensure a pleasant environment.

  • Support basic administrative duties such as customer records, inventory checks and other ad‑hoc tasks.

Requirements
  • Prior experience in customer service or front‑desk roles is an advantage, preferably within the beauty, wellness or hospitality industry.

  • Able to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese is preferred, as this role involves interacting with customers and team members who may communicate primarily in Chinese.

  • Pleasant disposition, well‑groomed, with strong interpersonal skills.

  • Comfortable using booking systems, messaging platforms and basic office software.

  • Responsible, punctual and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
