  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable with a strong willingness to learn.

Job Overview

The Business Supporting Officer will be part of the Business Support and Project Management Team in the Operations Department, responsible for supporting system optimization, industry testing, and parameter configuration within the bank’s operations. The role involves coordinating system enhancement projects, improving operational efficiency, and contributing to the department’s digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in and follow up on industry work group meetings, representing the bank’s operational interests.
  • Lead and coordinate key projects, including requirement gathering, functional testing, and business verification for system upgrades.
  • Drive the department’s digital transformation efforts, supporting the implementation of localized operational systems.
  • Promote system functionality optimization and process improvement, draft operational manuals, and conduct internal training sessions.
  • Prepare and submit statistical, monitoring, and regulatory reports, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Assist with daily business support activities and other responsibilities assigned by the Department Head.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Good understanding of local payment systems such as MEPS+, GIRO, FAST, PayNow, and eGIRO, as well as participation in industry exercises.
  • Knowledge of data analysis or familiarity with reporting tools will be an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage to liaise with Mandarin-speaking counterparts.
