As a Backend Developer at My MD Dr, an innovative healthcare startup based in Viman Nagar, Pune, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot. Your responsibilities will include designing scalable backend services, implementing RESTful APIs, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications. You will collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and implement new features, participate in code reviews, and write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.In terms of database management, you will work with relational databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL, as well as NoSQL databases like MongoDB. Optimizing database queries and ensuring data integrity will be essential components of your role. Troubleshooting and resolving issues reported by QA or customer teams, staying updated with emerging technologies, and contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies are also part of your responsibilities.To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with at least 3 years of experience in backend development using Java and Spring Boot. Proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot framework, experience with databases, familiarity with version control systems like Git, and knowledge of containerization tools like Docker are required technical skills. Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication and teamwork skills are important soft skills for this role.Preferred qualifications include experience in the healthcare or diagnostics sector, familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, and an understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins.
