Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Property & Casualty business strategy, initiatives and plans; responsible for both the Topline and Bottomline of the P&C segments.
• Review and approve complex, high-exposure, or non-standard risks.
• Monitor portfolio performance, loss trends, and pricing adequacy; recommend corrective actions. Manage, mentor, and develop a team of underwriters and underwriting managers.
• Establish performance goals, conduct reviews, and support career development.
• Foster a strong risk culture emphasizing accountability, consistency, and sound judgment. Ensure compliance with all laws, regulatory provisions and Group policies as are relevant to the role.

• Minimum 8 years of experience in a senior/head level developing and underwriting Commercial insurance business and products
• Commercial Insurance business and underwriting, pricing, referrals, review of policy wordings and product enhancements
• Strong experience within Singapore P&C Market.
