AVP (Hospitality)

This seniorOperator / Ownerrole in hospitality requires a strategic and operational hospitality professional with over a decade of experience to manage and drive growth across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. The position reports to the VP and involves both hands-on operational management and strategic commercial decision-making to enhance profitability and asset value.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will oversee a diverse portfolio of initiatives, ensuring operational excellence and alignment with the company's growth trajectory :

  • Hotel Operations & Pre-openings: Drive performance and maintain brand standards across all properties, including leading the operational readiness and stabilization of new hotel ventures in APAC.
  • Asset Management & Real Estate Investments: Protect and enhance asset value through strategic capital investments, performance monitoring (GOP, RevPAR), and informed real estate decisions.
  • Feasibility Analysis & Negotiations: Conduct comprehensive market analyses to identify growth opportunities, evaluate project feasibility, and negotiate vendor and supplier contracts effectively.
  • Revenue Management & Commercial Strategies: Partner with commercial teams to align sales, marketing, and pricing strategies, ensuring optimal occupancy, rate integrity, and maximized revenue streams.
  • Food & Beverage Concepts, Retail, and Spa Operations: Oversee all ancillary services, driving innovation in F&B concepts and retail / spa operations to enhance the guest experience and profitability.
  • Procurement & Cost Control: Implement efficient procurement processes and manage budgets, identifying cost‑saving opportunities without compromising service quality.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Inspire and mentor property‑level and regional teams, promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across a diverse workforce.
Requirements
  • Experience: More than 10 years of in-depth experience in hotel operations and driving commercial strategies, preferably with multi‑property or regional management exposure.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail in the hospitality industry, ensuring high standards are consistently met across all areas of operation.
  • Leadership & Commercial Awareness: Strong leadership abilities, commercial acumen, and the capacity to translate strategic vision into actionable initiatives.
