Audio-Visual and Information & Communication Technology
- Manage Audio Visual equipment during all major school events.
- Set up, test, and operate sound, light, and Audio Visual systems during school events (e.g., meetings, assemblies, sports day, speech day).
- Maintain inventory and loan records of Audio Visual and ICT equipment, cables, sound systems, etc.
- Provide consultation to the Head of Department/ICT and Subject Head/ICT on the Audio Visual needs of the school.
- Manage Audio Visual equipment in classrooms and other special rooms; monitor equipment usage and carry out annual maintenance.
- Coordinate with vendors on repair services.
- Manage the loan and condemnation of Audio Visual and ICT equipment and accessories.
- Collaborate with and support teachers to effectively utilize digital signage and AV systems for school-wide communication.
Other duties:
- Train CCA Information Technology Club students to operate the Public Address System during assemblies and other activities.
- Prepare CD players and batteries for school and national examinations (e.g., Listening Comprehension, Oral).
- Burn CDs for examinations and school events.
- Assist in taking photographs and recording videos for school events and ad-hoc activities.
- Convert video tapes to CDs.
- Assist in troubleshooting simple Audio Visual and ICT equipment issues.
