Job description

Audio-Visual and Information & Communication Technology
  1. Manage Audio Visual equipment during all major school events.
  2. Set up, test, and operate sound, light, and Audio Visual systems during school events (e.g., meetings, assemblies, sports day, speech day).
  3. Maintain inventory and loan records of Audio Visual and ICT equipment, cables, sound systems, etc.
  4. Provide consultation to the Head of Department/ICT and Subject Head/ICT on the Audio Visual needs of the school.
  5. Manage Audio Visual equipment in classrooms and other special rooms; monitor equipment usage and carry out annual maintenance.
  6. Coordinate with vendors on repair services.
  7. Manage the loan and condemnation of Audio Visual and ICT equipment and accessories.
  8. Collaborate with and support teachers to effectively utilize digital signage and AV systems for school-wide communication.
Other duties:
  1. Train CCA Information Technology Club students to operate the Public Address System during assemblies and other activities.
  2. Prepare CD players and batteries for school and national examinations (e.g., Listening Comprehension, Oral).
  3. Burn CDs for examinations and school events.
  4. Assist in taking photographs and recording videos for school events and ad-hoc activities.
  5. Convert video tapes to CDs.
  6. Assist in troubleshooting simple Audio Visual and ICT equipment issues.
