Job summary

A premier advisory firm in Singapore is looking for an Audit Engagement Associate transitioning from junior to senior roles. You will support your team leader in audit processes, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently while taking charge of engagements. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to coach junior staff and proactively address issues throughout the audit process. This role demands strong analytical and communication skills, alongside proficiency in accounting standards and taxation.

Job description

This position is a level transitioning from junior to senior role of an audit engagement. For more complex engagement, you will be one of the team members who can execute work competently and confidently with minimum supervision from the team leader. For non-complex engagement, you will have opportunities to take charge of the engagement for the entire audit process thus building your foundation to progress to the next level.

Specifically, you will:

  1. Be a strong support to your team leader in the audit process to ensure tasks assigned are executed diligently in accordance with the requirements.
  2. Provide timely update on job progress and follow through assigned tasks to completion.
  3. To coach and lead junior staff to execute tasks efficiently and to uphold audit quality.
  4. Flag out issues to team leader, manager or partner timely to proactively seek for. This includes consult when in doubt.
  5. Produce clear and concise documentation of work done and diligently resolve review points raised by the team leader, manager or partner.
