Job Description
  • Act as Qualified Person (QP) for the assigned civil engineering projects e.g. Sewerage, Drainage, Water Pipelines from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to safety standards, quality requirements, and project timelines
  • Develop and implement innovative engineering solutions for projects
  • Conduct and review geotechnical site investigations, risk assessments, structural calculations and feasibility studies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize project designs and resolve technical challenges
  • Provide expert guidance on civil works construction methodologies
  • Manage project budgets, resources, and stakeholder relationships
  • Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers and technical staff
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in civil engineering works e.g. sewerage, pipelines, drainages
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software
  • Strong project management skills, including risk assessment and mitigation
  • Proven track record in budget management and resource allocation
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills
