Job description

Job Duties:

• Promote IT initiatives across Asia for both life and P & C, spanning 8 countries and 13 entities.
• Promote the IT strategy of the Asian region and to align it with the global IT strategy and to formulate and lead projects that can contribute to the Asia region.
• In addition to strategy construction, also create concrete IT plans and lead and support local implementation.
• Lead the regional implementation of regional programs, providing promising value to customers and partners in all Asian countries.
• Overseas’ business travels are required.

Requirements:

• University Degree with professional IT qualifications.
• At least 10 years' experience in an insurance company and over 5 years' experience in IT lead.
• Leadership roles across Local and Regional Geographies.
• Complex Project Management; Implementation of cutting-edge IT solutions.
• Extensive experience in IT partnerships, sales & marketing, etc.
• Management of large delivery teams working with cross functional units and third-party vendors.
• Proficiency in Japanese language is required to liaise with Japan HQ and to read Japanese reports/documents.
• Good written report, presentation and communication skills in both English and Japanese language.
