Job summary

Qualifications

Job description

Employment Term: 2 years contract (subjected to extension)

Work Location: Sengkang

Responsible for Testing and Commission (T&C) along with technical support of electrical/signalling system for SPLRT Phrase 3 Project (C810D).

Responsibilities
  • T&C works associated with LRT electrical/signalling system
  • Assist to prepare and review T&C procedures and checklists
  • Perform and supervise testing and commissioning work as per approved procedures
  • Assisting in troubleshooting and rectification of faults during T&C
  • Communicating effectively with the T&C manager, design engineers, site supervisors, project manager, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Communicating effectively with various external stakeholders e.g. other contractors (System Wide Contractors), Subcontractors, SBST, LTA.
  • Any other ad-hoc works assigned by project manager and commissioning manager.
Job requirements
  • Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication
  • Minimum 2-3 years of Electrical T&C experience (MRT/LRT T&C experience in signalling/electrical will be preferred)
  • Should be conversant with electrical/control/signalling system (MRT/LRT electrical/signalling system knowledge will be advantageous)
  • Should be keen to learn MRT/LRT electrical /signalling system
  • Able to work in night shifts
  • Strong commitment to the job
  • Should be conversant with LTA’s regulations
  • Ability to work as a team with motivation
  • Proven ability to consistently get results and achieve time-sensitive goals
  • Ability to flexibly adapt to change and challenges, ability to work calmly under pressure and exercise good judgment
