Job description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
  • Drive sales growth and market penetration for water quality analysers, including both online and laboratory-based solutions.

  • Act as the product specialist for water quality instruments, supporting direct sales activities, distributors, and channel partners.

  • Provide expert technical support during the sales process, including product selection, solution design, and technical presentations.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company objectives, market trends, and customer needs.

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in municipal, industrial, environmental, and water & wastewater markets.

  • Support key accounts through regular customer visits, technical discussions, and relationship management.

  • Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and technical workshops for customers and sales partners.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to support product positioning and sales planning.

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams such as application engineering, service, and product management to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Assist the Sales Manager in forecasting, budgeting, and reporting sales performance.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Instrumentation, or a related technical discipline.

  • Strong technical knowledge of online and laboratory water quality analysers, including but not limited to:

    • pH

    • Conductivity

    • Turbidity

    • Total Organic Carbon (TOC)

    • Nutrients (e.g. ammonia, nitrate, phosphate)

    • Metals

  • Experience in water quality analysers, analytical instruments, or related environmental technologies.

  • Proven track record in technical sales, solution selling, or product specialization within the water or environmental sector.

  • Ability to understand complex applications and translate technical features into customer benefits.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Experience working with industrial, municipal, or environmental customers is highly preferred.
