Job title: Assistant Relationship Manager – Private Banking

Salary: SGD 8,000 - 12,000

Our client is seeking an Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) to support Team Leaders (TLs) and Relationship Managers (RMs) in client account administration, client servicing, and retention within the Private Banking business. The ARM will coordinate closely with internal departments, external financial institutions, and service providers to ensure accurate execution, settlement, and administration of client transactions.

Responsibilities
  1. Client & Account Administration
    • Assist TLs/RMs with client account administration, servicing, and retention activities.
    • Ensure timely resolution of outstanding client administration matters.
    • Prepare and follow up on account opening documentation.
    • Maintain and update client‑related spreadsheets and records.
  2. Trade Execution & Settlement
    • Liaise with internal departments for trade execution, settlement of securities, corporate actions, payments, fund receipts, and loan renewals/repayments.
    • Verify daily transaction lists to ensure accurate trade processing.
    • Prepare and send trade confirmations to clients.
    • Monitor and arrange settlement of trades.
  3. Payment Orders
    • Input orders for securities, FX, and money market transactions into the system.
  4. External Liaison
    • Coordinate with other financial institutions and service providers on account opening requests and client administrative matters.
  5. Reporting & RM Support
    • Print valuation reports and prepare client documents, brochures, and investment/research materials for RMs’ business trips.
    • Provide day‑to‑day administrative and operational support to TLs/RMs.

Requirement & Preferences

Must

  • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree
  • CACS Paper 1 and 2
  • Prior experience as an ARM in Private Banking
  • Candidates from non-Private Banking backgrounds may need to complete additional examinations

Preference

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Familiarity with Private Banking operational workflows
