Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore seeks a skilled candidate to support project management and engineering tasks. Key responsibilities include managing project progress, preparing technical drawings, and conducting Factory Acceptance Tests. The ideal candidate should hold a diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, have experience with AutoCAD, and preferably in the Marine or Oil and Gas Industry. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Marine, Oil and Gas Industry is preferred.
  • Must be proactive in continuously upgrading skills.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the project manager in managing and monitoring the project progress to meet technical requirements and time schedule with high quality standard, cost effectiveness and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.
  • Responsible for preparing and reviewing technical/engineering drawings and documentation etc.
  • Responsible for preparing and conducting Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) with customers and 3rd party inspectors.
  • Convert sketch from engineer into technical drawings.
  • Manage projects submission to ensure timely submission for project tender and projects implementation.
  • Maintain proper documentation and drawing files, ensuring all versions are updated and stored correctly.
  • Participate in tests onboard vessels.
  • Support the team in any other tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and experience with AutoCAD drawing/design software.
  • Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • Experience in Marine, Oil and Gas Industry is preferred.
  • Strong initiative, ability to analyze problem and problem-solving skill.
  • Team player with good communication skill.
  • Salary will be commensurate based on experience and qualification.
  • Must be proactive in continuously upgrading skills and staying current with industry standards and developments.
