Job description

As an Assistant Patient Experience Manager, you will serve as the relational bridge between patients and their families, and the medical, nursing, and allied health staff, thereby enhancing the hospital experience. By pro-actively walking the floor and being physically present in-ward and patient clinical areas, your presence will serve as ready listening ears and try to mitigate some of the suffering and anxiety faced by patients/families and staff alike. Engage all patients and carers to gather real-time feedback, enabling patients and their carers to comment on the quality of the care they are receiving.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Communications, Public Relations, or any other relevant discipline
  • Minimum 6 years of working experience, preferably in healthcare or social service-related industry
  • Preferably with 2 years of managerial experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well and interact with all types of people at all levels, including patients, their next-of-kin, as well as internal clinical and nursing staff
  • Matured disposition with people-centered mind-set
  • Excellent communication skills both spoken and written
  • Possesses empathy and genuine care for patients and fellow colleagues

Working Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: 10am – 7.30pm
