Job description

NUHS Regional Health System Office works with internal stakeholders and community partners to develop and implement initiatives to improve population health and promote preventive health. Together, we strive to build a healthy and engaged population in the West, empowered to live well and age well in their home and in the community.

The incumbent will be responsible to support the development and implementation of strategies and initiatives to enhance the delivery of community care and improve population health in the Western Region. This is to be achieved in close collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders and partners.

Role & Responsibilities
  1. Support Strategic Planning at RHSO Community Operations Division

    • Tracking and reporting of workplans, BSC, budget utilisation and manpower planning.

    • Preparation of strategic updates to senior management and internal/external stakeholders.

    • Support secretariat work for various workgroups and management meetings as assigned.

    • Undertake strategic projects, which may involve working with other departments in RHSO-Ops or other divisions/agencies.

  2. Support Grant Administration

    • Manage the various grant/programme budgets to ensure proper utilisation in line with approved funding guidelines and terms and conditions, including the negotiation of terms of LOA and funding budget.

    • Manage claims processing and track progress reports submission, including liaison with partners and finance to ensure timely processing of claims and audit.

  3. Health Literacy Implementation

    • Support and drive the planning and implementation of projects/programmes with partners and stakeholders to deliver and improve health literacy of residents living in the West.

    • Engage partners and NUHS stakeholders to drive health literacy framework in the community.

  4. Corporate Administrative Support to Community Operations Division and Precinct Planning & Development Dept

    • Lead as Office Manager for Community Operations Division.

    • Oversee the proper provision of various administrative support, such IT & HR-related matters, facilities management, database management and knowledge management.

Qualification, Skills & Experience
  • Good Bachelor degree in any discipline.

  • At least 4 years of relevant working experience. Experience in the Singapore healthcare system and/or knowledge of integrated care models will be advantageous.

  • Able to think critically and strategically, with strong conceptual and analytical abilities.

  • Strong planning, project management and organisational skills.

  • Meticulous with good attention to detail and numbers.

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Pleasant personality and able to work well with others, to foster buy-in and collaboration.

  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
