Job description
The Job:

You will support Facilities Management & Engineering (FME) department in managing electrical systems and resources to support the uninterrupted operations of buildings, plant, equipment and all infrastructural assets and facilities under your duty of care but also ensure the timely replacement of equipment and fixtures to prevent disruptions to users.

Your job role will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Lead and develop comprehensive maintenance programmes for electrical services, buildings, systems and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operations through effective preventive maintenance schedules
  • Prepare and manage workplan budgets, including infrastructure renewal proposals and improvement works costings
  • Manage work plans, procurement processes and project implementation, working closely with consultants, contractors and government authorities in implementation of construction projects and facilities improvement works while monitoring performance targets
  • Lead a team in managing facilities service requests, coordinating stakeholder communications, and overseeing preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs
  • Generating and analysing reports to assist in other routine facility maintenance related projects or assignments
  • Leading the team to attend and conduct site troubleshooting, investigation, submission of incident reports
  • Lead and coordinate annual electrical shutdown with all stakeholders
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Building Services with at least 3 to 6 years' experience
  • Experience in maintenance and managing of contractors (in projects and maintenance) desirable with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with healthcare staff of all levels
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
