Job summary

Job description
Summary

The incumbent will assist the department to provide the support for procurement and contract administration and quantity surveying services in the development of NUHS infrastructure projects for clinical care, education and research facilities and to align with NUHS as an Academic Health System.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead in providing Quantity Surveying services in managing infrastructure projects under NUHS Cluster.
  • Support in Project Management Services in managing infrastructure projects under NUHS Cluster.
  • Establish and provide guidance on good practices in cost and contract administration including procurement of infrastructure projects.
  • Establish the cost data for infrastructure projects under NUHS including working with external entities (e.g. MOHH, NHG, SGH, etc).
  • Compile a registry of consultations, queries and feedback on procurement policies, standard contract documents and contract administration processes/templates for periodic review and improvement.
  • Any ad hoc duties that may be assigned by manager.
Requirements
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying, Building or Project Management for infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in healthcare facilities and/or government projects will be an advantage.
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree from a recognised university in Quantity Surveying, Project Management or other relevant construction related discipline.
  • Good knowledge of Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract (PSSCOC).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications eg. MS Words, Powerpoint and Excel.
