Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Academic & Student Support at the MBA Programmes Office, the incumbent will provide curriculum and service support to MBA students to deliver an excellent programme experience. The spectrum of responsibilities is outlined below.

Student Exchange
  • Manage the MBA student exchange programmes
  • Correspond with partner universities on exchange nominations
  • Coordination and administration of student exchange matters
  • Provide support to inbound exchange students on their various needs
  • Organise briefings and orientation for students on exchange programmes
  • Manage exchange students’ course needs, enrolment and credit transfers
  • Ensure exchange students abide by requirements mandated by NUS
  • Coordinate with various departments internally and externally to manage exchange needs
  • Work with NUS MBA student leaders to buddy exchange students and encourage a vibrant interaction among the exchange students and the NUS MBA student community
  • Manage participation (inbound and outbound) of special network partnership programmes, including in-person and virtual programmes
  • Communicate and coordinate with partner universities on exchange matters
  • Partnership management
  • Update and communicate the latest factsheet to partner schools
  • Maintain and complete survey for exchange data
Event and Programme Management
  • Work with programme/academic director to organise and run short programmes to host exchange students from partner schools
  • Organise receptions to welcome the students
  • Organise networking reception to encourage interactions among the student community
  • Organise farewell get together for exchange students at the end of the semester
Student Services
  • Attend to emails and queries from students
  • Manage exchange students’ module needs, enrolment and credit transfers
  • Handle students’ requests and feedback
  • Initiate ideas to continuously improve students’ programme experience
  • Achieve a high satisfaction rate of students’ programme experience
Others
  • Coordination and organising of student orientation and commencement
  • Manage students’ fees and payment matters
  • Involvement in process innovation and automation of the team
  • Provide support for accreditations and reviews
  • Provide support for school/programme events, which may include weekends and public holidays occasionally
Qualifications
  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
  • Able to work independently, is pro-active, task-oriented, yet service-minded
  • A fast learner with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Meticulous and able to multi-task
  • A team-player, with willingness to support inter-team/office activities
  • Able to build good rapport with students, as well as university and corporate partners
  • Self-motivated and willingness to learn
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Appointment job grade will commensurate with the selected candidate\'s experience
