Designation

Assistant Manager/Manager, Engineering & Facilities Management

Responsibilities
  • Manage engineering, maintenance, and facilities operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant building performance.
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for M&E systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, lifts & escalators).
  • Manage vendors, term contracts, and contractors, ensuring service quality and cost effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support budgeting, cost control, and operational planning.
  • Lead facilities-related projects, upgrades, and improvement works.
  • Utilize data analytics to monitor asset performance, energy consumption, and maintenance trends to drive informed decision‑making.
  • Support sustainability initiatives, including energy efficiency, water conservation, and ESG‑related improvements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Building Services, or related field.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience as an Assistant Manager and/or 8-12 years of relevant experience as a Manager.
  • Strong technical knowledge of building services and facilities management.
  • Strong in procurement policies and processes.
  • Experience in vendor management, budgeting, and project coordination.
  • Exposure to data analytics tools and sustainability practices is an advantage.
  • Green Mark Professional, Fire Safety Manager, Water Efficiency Manager, and WSH certifications will be an advantage.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
  • Good leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong technical knowledge of building services and facilities operations.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills.
  • Good project management and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Budgeting, cost control, and vendor management experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, Tableau, Power BI and facilities management systems.
  • Hands‑on, proactive, and detail‑oriented.
  • Able to work independently and under pressure.
  • Willing to respond to emergencies or after‑hours issues when required.
