We are part of the PrimePartners Group, a financial services group based in Singapore providing corporate finance, M&A and asset management services. Our corporate finance business has completed over 70 listings, over 270 advisory engagements and sponsors more than 40 companies listed on Catalist of SGX-ST. As part of Oaklins, we collaborate with over 800 professionals across over 40 countries and 15 industry verticals on M&A transactions.

Introduction to the Role

As a market leader on Catalist, the growth board of the Singapore Exchange, we invite applications from highly motivated and committed individuals to be part of our Continuing Sponsorship team.

The successful applicant will gain valuable exposure to the boards of listed companies, actively participate in negotiating high-level transactions, and experience the fast-paced and dynamic environment of the capital markets as part of the Continuing Sponsorship team.

Responsibilities include:
  • Managing client relationships for a portfolio of sponsored companies.
  • Pro-actively working with sponsored companies on corporate actions, mergers and acquisitions and fund-raising exercises.
  • Reviewing announcements and corporate actions carried out by sponsored companies, including shareholder circulars and press releases.
  • Advising directors and management on listing obligations, compliance and corporate governance matters.
  • Oversee project timelines and ensure deliverables aresubmittedto clients and regulators promptlyin accordance withestablished deadlines.
  • Engage in close and regular dialogues with and prepare submissions to the regulators to drive resolution of issues in a timely manner.
What we look for:

As a general guideline, it is preferred that the candidate has 3-5 years (for Assistant Manager) or more than 5 years (for Manager) of relevant experience in client-facing corporate finance roles, audit, banking, compliance, or legal advisory.

  • Degree in Accounting/Law/Economics/Business. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CFA) are advantageous.
  • Able to understand and analyze financial statements as well as read and legal documents.
  • Excellent written and verbal proficiency in English.
  • Effective team player, and able to work independently.
  • Proactive attitude with a keen attention to detail, with effective interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to learn and take on responsibilities beyond the initial scope.
At a managerial level, the selected candidate is also expected to:
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
  • Possess excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with clarity of mind as a key trait.
