Job summary

A major recruitment agency is seeking an Assistant Manager for Cybersecurity & Compliance to lead policies, conduct assessments, and ensure compliance within a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Cybersecurity or Computer Science and over 6 years of relevant experience. The Opportunity:

  • Work hours: Mon to Fri 9am - 6pm

Adecco is partnering with recognised organisation and and t hey are looking for Assistant Manager, Cybersecurity & Compliance (Government) to join the Team! A great opportunity to work with the company who value diversity, lifelong learning and individual development.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, standards, and awareness programmes aligned with national frameworks.
  • Conduct cyber risk assessments across IT, OT, supply chain, and third parties; maintain risk registers and track remediation.
  • Monitor emerging cyber threats and ensure timely closure of vulnerability and penetration test findings.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards (PDPA, MAS TRM, Cybersecurity Act, ISO27001, NIST); support audits, assurance reviews, and compliance documentation.
  • Oversee security operations providers and support deployment of cybersecurity solutions.
  • Support incident response and business continuity planning; report cybersecurity risks, metrics, and compliance status to senior management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field with min. 6 years of cybersecurity experience, including 2 years in GRC roles
  • Relevant certifications preferred (e.g. CISM, CISSP, CRISC, ISO 27001).
  • Proficient in MS Office / Microsoft Power Platform and social media platforms.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and best practices.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple prioritiesTeam player with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
