A key community health organization in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Manager for their CREST Youth team. This role involves leadership in supporting youths' mental health through case management and services. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Psychology or Social Work, with at least 4-5 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include oversight of service delivery, networking with community partners, and guiding team outreach efforts to promote mental health awareness. Candidates should be organized, motivated, and passionate about serving youths.
SAMH C'SAY provides engagement, screening, case management and intervention for youths, and engages youths for ongoing monitoring and support. As a CREST-Youth team, it also works actively with youth agencies, schools and community partners to provide holistic case management for youths and their families.
The Assistant Manager provides leadership and oversees the CREST Youth team to ensure service delivery is in accordance to the intended programme objectives and care model for CREST programme as outlined under the terms & conditions of the Letter of Award/Addendum. This role requires the identified personnel to have the relevant competencies, with sufficient years of direct work experience and service with clients with mental health issues necessary for the purpose of supervision of staff in the respective field.
He/She maintains an overview of the service planning and implementation of the CREST programme. He/She will work closely and provide guidance to the CREST team to achieve the CREST goals of outreach to increase mental health and public awareness, promote early identification and link those at risk and with needs to the appropriate support and resources, and provide follow up support.
In addition, the Assistant Manager will establish and/or maintain networking with other community partners or agencies, for purpose of collaboration and facilitate care coordination.
Minimum a degree in Psychology or Social Work or relevant courses
Minimum 4-5 years of relevant work experience, preferably some leadership experience
