Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to build and maintain strategic relationships with our key clients in the FMCG sector. You will drive revenue growth, lead merchandising teams, and develop account strategies to maximize business opportunities while ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.

Key Duties
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients by understanding their needs and proposing tailored solutions
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive growth and maximize revenue opportunities
  • Serve as primary point of contact for key clients, addressing inquiries and identifying upselling/cross-selling opportunities
  • Collaborate with marketing, purchasing, and logistics teams to meet client expectations
  • Negotiate contract renewals and pricing agreements to ensure mutually beneficial terms
  • Meet deadlines for promotion plan submissions
  • Resolve customer inquiries and issues to maintain trust and satisfaction
  • Lead and manage merchandising teams to ensure operational effectiveness
  • Plan and implement new product launch activities
  • Analyze competitor activities and market trends to adjust account strategies
  • Monitor KPIs and account metrics, using data insights for continuous improvement
  • Stay current with industry trends and market developments
  • Prepare regular sales progress reports and forecasts
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years experience in FMCG / Modern Trade
  • Proven track record in Key Account Management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM software
  • Strong ability to build rapport with key clients
  • Capable of managing multiple client accounts simultaneously
  • Excellent negotiation and leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
