Job description

Finance business partners are accountants who work closely with a particular business unit creating a real and active partnership with both operations and management. Their role is to provide 'real time' support and analysis, to be a trusted adviser and to add value that will assist in decision making.

Job Descriptions
  • Month-End Close Activities: Handle all aspects of the month-end close, including reviewing
    the financial statement

  • Maintain Full Set of Accounts: Oversee all journal entries, revenues, and expenses to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Daily Accounting Tasks: Oversee daily operations of AR, AP, GL, bank reconciliations, intercompany recharges/reconciliations

  • Compliance and Processes: Collaboration between the finance department and various business units or departments within an organisation to drive finance policies, SOPs and compliance for new initiatives or changes to processes for existing business

  • Management Reporting: Prepare and provide financial analysis and reports to business unit management

  • Ad hoc projects: ongoing projects time to time

Job Requirements
Requirement and Qualifications
  • Degreein Accountancy (or equivalent), with at least 3 years of relevant working experience in a large organization and/or across multiple finance operations roles

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with tools such as Power Query, Power Pivot, and Power BI. Experience with SAP is a must

  • Self-driven, comfortable with ambiguity, and a resourceful team player with a hands-on approach to problem-solving

  • Strong business-partnering skills, a collaborative mindset, and excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders

  • Highly responsible, detail-oriented, analytical, self-motivated, and well-organized

  • A positive "can-do" attitude, with the ability to multitask, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and work independently while remaining resilient
