A renowned global law firm is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager in Singapore. This role involves managing local accounting operations, preparing management accounts, and supporting audit processes. Candidates should have a CA/CPA qualification and a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accountancy, with at least 8 years of relevant experience and 3 years in a law firm. The position offers collaboration with the management team and opportunities for process improvements.
A renowned global law firm is hiring for an Assistant Finance Manager. This newly created, individual contributor role will cover the Singapore market for finance in local accounting and financial operations, including staff reimbursements, vendor payments, and payroll. You will also be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts, analysing P&L performance, and maintaining balance sheet schedules.
This role offers exciting cross‑functional collaboration with monthly finance review sessions, ensuring financials meet regulatory standards and raising any issues promptly to the management team.
Additionally, you will support Singapore tax matters with HQ and external agents, and drive the annual audit by managing queries and ensuring timely completion. You will also partake in special projects and process improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a CA/CPA‑qualified professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance and at least 8 years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a law firm. You should be able to work independently, be highly analytical yet hands‑on.
