A leading real estate services firm in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Engineering Manager to oversee engineering operations and lead vendor management. The ideal candidate will have a higher-level qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of IFM property management experience. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and implementing preventive maintenance across all sites. The role requires strong technical knowledge and team leadership skills.
Assistant Engineering Manager
Facilities engineers are responsible for engineering operations and directs vendors and subcontractors. Utilizes advanced skills to perform complex preventive maintenance, corrective repair and efficiency upgrades of buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment and grounds. Working under limited supervision, monitors building system operations and performance. Utilizes several trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating and cooling.
This person will be actively responsible for management of Energy and Water usage across Singapore. The role will lead the Engineering team including vendor management and the self-performing technician workforce. This role, from time to time, is also expected to support and provide leadership and best practice to other account disciplines such as Health & Safety, Security, and Projects.
The role will primarily be the focal point for all Engineering, Energy and Project related account issues working closely with the Subject Matter Expert network and the Country site leads to maximize the breadth of information produced across all the work-streams to provide insightful information to support decision making.
