The Assistant Director - Film Promotions position is a freelance opportunity for approximately 3 months, focusing on the release and promotional campaign of McGuffin, an upcoming feature film to be released in cinemas. As an Assistant Director, you will work closely with the director/producer, coordinating with various stakeholders such as cinemas, distributors, brand partners, actors, and audience groups. Your role will involve handling scheduling, research, communication, backend logistics, shooting and managing videos, assisting with digital promotions and content planning, and utilizing video editing skills when necessary.To excel in this role, you must have a sharp, proactive, and independent mindset, capable of managing tasks efficiently even without direct supervision. Strong organizational and management skills are essential, along with excellent spoken English and communication abilities. Prior film experience or a background in film school is preferred.
