What The Role Is

You manage the career management function for Army's Warrant Officer and Specialist Corps (WOSpec) while developing, implementing and refining Human Resource (HR) systems and processes, as well as enhancing people analytics and digital HR competencies to enable effective HR management and leadership succession.

What You Will Be Working On
  • Analyse workforce data to identify turnover risks and career movement trends to provide insights on current and forecasted talent pool
  • Partner performance management branch to identify high potential Warrant Officers and Specialists (WOSpecs) and recommend route of advancement and career paths
  • Manage service extension, re-employment, non-disciplinary discharge, early release and exit of WOSpecs
  • Serve as HR Line Manager and Unit Resource Officer to support on administration, logistics and finance matters
Challenge(s)
  • Grasping policies and guidelines rapidly in order to responsively define the key success factors for the management of Army WOSpecs in the Army
  • Removing outdated practices and actively exploring digital technology and tools to simplify work processes
  • Implementing good knowledge management practices to retain and transfer knowledge as well as enforcing measures to safeguard data
What We Are Looking For
  • Education in Human Resource or Data Science management
  • At least 6 years of experience in workforce analytics and talent management
  • Meticulous
  • Ability to work independently and carry out duties under stressful conditions and tight timelines
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis is advantageous
  • Strong understanding of career management processes
