Job summary

A construction firm in Singapore is seeking a skilled BIM Modeler to create and maintain detailed 3D models for various building and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in BIM modeling and be proficient in software such as Revit and AutoCAD. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and in a team are essential. Candidates with experience in LTA/MRT projects will have an advantage. This role is vital in ensuring accuracy and reliability throughout the project stages.

Qualifications

• Minimally 1 year experience in BIM Modeling work in building construction and project execution.
• Knowledge and experience in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Experience in LTA / MRT projects is advantageous.

Job description

Responsibilities

1. 1. Responsible for creating and developing detailed 3D models of buildings or infrastructure projects using BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, or Bentley MicroStation, etc.
2. 2. To update and maintain the BIM models and drawings to reflect any design changes, construction progress, or as-built conditions and ensure accuracy of shop drawings.
3. 3. Keep the models and drawings up to date and ensure that the information remains accurate and reliable.
4. 4. Using Common Data Environment (CDE) to manage the process of exchange and coordination of BIM model with consultants, client, and stakeholders.
5. 5. Knowledge of Coordinated Combined Services Model (CCSM).
6. 6. Generate shop drawings for preliminary, construction and as-built stages from BIM model.
7. 7. Produce completeness shop drawings as per detail given by engineer/manager and ensure drawings and ensure drawings submission schedule is achieved.
8. 8. Knowledge of Combined Services Drawings (CSD), Structural E&M Drawings (SEM), Concrete Body Plan (CBP) & Wall Setting Out Plan.
9. 9. Ensure that BIM deliverables and documentation follow BIM Execution Plan (BEP) or requirement/instruction as stipulated.
10. 10. Able to manage internal coordination meetings to resolve identified design or construction issues which affected the model.
11. 11. Manage model data to facilitate model coordination between multiple disciplines and sub-contractors.
12. 12. Coordinating with site personnel and subcontractors regarding update on drawings and generating Clash Detection Report.
13. 13. Other ad-hoc duties assigned.

Requirements

1. 1. Diploma/Degree in Structural/Architecture/Engineering/Construction/MEP or equivalent.
2. 2. Minimally 1 year experience in BIM Modeling work in building construction and project execution.
3. 3. Knowledge and experience in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks.
4. 4. Experience in LTA / MRT projects is advantageous.
5. 5. Good communication, writing & interpersonal skills.
6. 6. Having a positive attitude and proactive mindset.
7. 7. Adaptable to working both independently and as a team player, with the ability to work under pressure and meet submission deadlines.
