Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an Accounts Executive to maintain financial accounts and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma in Accounting and 1–2 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include handling financial transactions and quarterly GST submissions, as well as coordinating with external auditors and preparing statutory accounts.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of relevant working experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software; experience with Epicor or AutoCount is an advantage.

Accounts Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a full set of accounts in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Handle accounting functions for the costing section and cost analysis by product and customers.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
• Handle quarterly GST submissions and ensure compliance with all tax regulations.
• Assist and prepare in yearly statutory accounts and budget;
• Coordinate with external auditors: prepare required documents, respond to audit queries, and support year-end stock take and audit confirmations.
• Undertake any other ad-hoc duties or assignments as required.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of relevant working experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software; experience with Epicor or AutoCount is an advantage.
• Meticulous, detail-oriented, and well-organized.
